Lorenz Schuwerack studied law at Bucerius Law School and Chicago Kent College of Law. During his studies and legal clerkship, he focused on labour law and worked as a research associate in the employment and benefits practices of renowned national and international law firms. In his role at a strategic management consultancy, he then advised on issues related to people, leadership and organizational development.

Lorenz Schuwerack was also a lecturer at Bucerius Law School for mediation and alternative dispute resolution.
